Scope and Contents
Two studies of the community services in Rochester, New York. The first study, "A Survey of Recreational Facilities in Rochester, New York," is a survey of public, private and industrial recreation facilities in Rochester. The study was conducted at the request of the Council of Social Agencies of Rochester and the report presents the detailed data collected. The second report is section 12 of a survey made by Clara O. Somerville for the YWCA of Rochester. Titled "Rooms Study," this section of the report compiles responses to a questionnaire concerning rooms and houses available, their condition and accessibility. The report presents results collected from housing programs, information concerning general housing problems and results of a study of wards within Rochester.

This collection is open for use without restriction beyond the standard terms and conditions of Smith College Special Collections.
