Scope and Contents

Excerpt from the report, "Impact of Federal grants in Aid in the State of Mississippi," followed by documents concerning the program and development of associations in Gulfport, Hattiesburg, and Jackson, Mississippi. A short summary of the development of work in Gulfport summarizes initial responses to a request for new work there. Documents from Hattiesburg concern the association's disaffiliation and continued use of the YWCA name and symbol. Finally, documents concerning the administation, program, development and activities of the YWCA of Jackson, Mississippi include basic standards reports, certification documents, constitions, bylaws, visitaiton reports, and general correspondence and reports concerning assocaition operations and program.
