Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the program, administration, and development of YWCA of the U.S.A. associations in the Greater Pomona Valley and Harbor Area, California. Documents are arranged alphabetically by area with further topical and form designations on the microfilm. The administration and development of the associations is documented in basic standards reports, constitutions, and bylaws. YWCA of Greater Pomona Valley's administrative records also include record of their name changes from Greater Bonita YWCA and YWCA of La Verne. Visitation reports include program descriptions, reports of challenges and successes, and discussion of personnel and management need. Additional materials include general correspondence and reports concerning association program and operations.

This collection is open for use without restriction beyond the standard terms and conditions of Smith College Special Collections.
However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant. These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
