New Mexico, circa 1961-1970
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the work of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and its associations in New Mexico. Documents are arranged alphabetically by city or town with further form and topical designations on the microfilm under the affiliated association in Albuquerque. The administration and development of the YWCA of Albuquerque is documented in basic standards reports, constitutions, and bylaws. Visitation reports include program descriptions, reports of challenges and successes, and discussion of personnel and management need. Documents for other cities include new organization inquiries for Carlsbad, Las Cruces, Shiprock, and Gallup. Correspondence and a visitation report from Gallup focus on the development of YWCA work in Native American communities and schools in the area.
