The Kathryn Marshall papers consist of 20 tapes and 19 transcripts of oral histories she conducted with women who served in Vietnam for her book In the Combat Zone (published 1987 by Little Brown).

Biographical Note
Author Kathryn Marshall grew up in Texas during the 1950s and 1960s. She did her undergraduate work at Southern Methodist University and her graduate work in California. She is the author of Desert Places, My Sister Gone, and In The Combat Zone.
