Biographical / Historical
Alfred F. Moran served as chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood of New York City (PPNYC) from 1966 until 1989. He is credited for merging several New York City regional family planning operations, including the Margaret Sanger Research Bureau, to strengthen PPNYC’s services, operational budget, and influence on public policy. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 67.

This collection was found on the shelf during the Special Collection's move to Neilson Library in April 2021. No acquisition documentation was located and the collection was accessioned in June 2022. A file inventory was made and one box was rehoused.
