Elizabeth Chapman Poetry collection
Scope and Contents
Collection contains unpublished, typed collections of Chapman's own poetry (1980s-1990s), correspondence, material on readings and conferences, and periodicals and printed anthologies containing Chapman's poetry (80 items, 1993-2015). Includes materials from the Smith College Poetry Center and a biographical essay by Elizabeth Chapman. Also contains correspondence with various poets, including Naomi Shihab Nye, W.S. Merwin, and Galway Kinnell, and relating to various projects.
