Letter from Lucy Watson Davis to Elizabeth Crocker Lawrence, 1881-02-21
Scope and Contents
Elizabeth's stepmother writes about their journey home to Newton Center from Washington D.C. She writes that they should try to be noble Christian women, and talks about a play they saw recently. She reports the death of a friend of theirs, and asks if Elizabeth recieved the handkerchiefs she sent; she is impressed at how much Elizabeth remembers and writes about in her letters.
