Scope and Contents
Seelye tells Clarke (Elizabeth Crocker Lawrence) that she can send along her manuscript of the chapter on Student Life for Seelye's book about the early history of Smith College. He writes that he has reluctantly accepted his appointment to investigate the education at the Massachusetts Agricultural College, and that he and is family are well, but his daughters are a bit anxious about infantile paralysis.
