The Classes of 1931-1940 records consist of individual class notes, examinations, papers and class letters, correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, songbooks as well as reunion materials of the same nature, all related to or dating from the time periods during which these classes were students at Smith College.

Elizabeth Pafford was a 1930's Smith College graduate and was very active in her Connecticut community. Her collection contains material on her time at Smith, including biographical materials, photographs, correspondence, Travel Logs, and coursework.

Contains research note books, correspondence, academic publications, a master’s thesis, and class notes by Elizabeth Warren Olmstead, class of 1931 and instructor in geology.

Helen Paull Kirkpatrick was a Smith college graduate of the Class of 1931. She became a foreign correspondent at the beginning of World War II. Her papers contain news clippings, correspondence, and photographs documenting the student experience. It also contains her professional work while at Smith College as Assistant to the president, 1953-1955.
