The collection contains records of the Alumnae Association and Smith Clubs.

The Smith Club of Kansas City, MO was founded in the 1940s; the club's earliest directory dates from 1948. Its records contain minutes, correspondence, clippings, newsletters, and photographs.

The Smith Club of North Shore formed as a fusion between the Lynn Smith Club (founded 1917) and the Salem Smith Club (founded 1919), at the suggestion of the Alumnae Association, in 1934. Its records contain minutes, annual meeting reports, membership directories, event fliers, newspaper clippings, and correspondence of the Smith Club of North Shore.

The Smith Club of Palm Beaches began in 1959 as an informal sect of the nearby Smith Club of Fort Lauderdale. This collection contains minutes, membership directories, event programs, financial records, photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and a scrapbook documenting the Smith Club of Palm Beaches's activities.

The main functions of the Smith Club of Rhode Island are to arrange social events for the alumnae in the state and to fundraise for Smith Fund scholarships. The collection contains correspondence, ephemera, lists, photographs, and a scrapbook.

The Smith Club of Sarasota records contain minutes, photographs, membership directories, financial records, and various materials documenting the club's history and activities.

The Smith Club of South Shore, MA has been an active club since the late 1930s. Its records contain minutes, secretary reports, newsletters, and events materials.
