Many periodicals were transferred from the Smith College School of Social Work, Office of the Registrar records (CA-MS-01211) and more may be housed there.

The Smith College School for Social Work, Office of Alumni Affairs and Development records (CA-MS-01208) contains a partial run of many of the School for Social Work's publications, as does the Smith College School for Social Work, Office of the Dean records (CA-MS-01210) (especially brochures and handbooks).

Some material within the School for Social Work publications may intersect with the Smith College publications and publications records (CA-MS-01006).

Processing Information

In 2021, Madison White, the processing archivist, started to split the Smith College School of Social Work records into several smaller collections based on the offices or departments which had donated the materials. This collection was created as a result.

During the 2021 processing, four boxes of material were transferred from the Graduate Work records. Records were kept in their original order.
