Environmental Integration II (ENV 201/202) oral histories
Scope and Contents
The box contains the coursework of students in ENV 201/202 in 2013 and 2014 created for their project collecting interview evidence. The collection contains CDs, DVDs, and flash drives containing the interviews, transcripts, and student papers reflecting on the experience. The interviewees are all in the field of environmental science, including Smith professors and local environmental activists.

The material in the collection is the coursework created by ENV 201/202 Environmental Integration II: Collecting and Analyzing Information in 2013-2014. The course, run by Dr. Ninian R. Stein, sought to teach students a variety of ways to gather, analyze, and present data about the environment around them. The course, ENV 201, and lab, ENV 202, developed skills in reading scientific papers, interviewing, and mapping software, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
