Scope and Contents
This collection contains Club newsletters, correspondence, membership directories, clippings and photographs. The scrapbook contains newsclippings and ephemera spanning 1916 through 1918. Highlights include the Club's involvement in the community as well as in the war effort.

Biographical / Historical
The main functions of the Club are to arrange social events for the alumnae in the area and to fundraise for Smith Fund scholarships. Their current values statement defines the Club as "a group of Smith College alumnae living in or near Rhode Island. We look to connect for networking, social events, and building ties with the college and community. We have an active book club and host several events each year, including a winter party to make care packages for current Smith students from RI."
