Adrienne Auerswald papers
Adrienne Aurswald entered the music program at Smith College in 1939 and graduated in 1943. She returned to Smith to teach in 1957. In 1962, Auerswald earned her Master's degree and became a faculty member. The collection contains her photograph albums and memorabilia books from her time as a Smith College student as well as committee files from when she was a faculty memeber.

Abortion rights advocacy group. Videotapes, photographs, and memorabilia documenting the anti-abortion protestors who formed around the Summit Medical Center, an abortion clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Also contains court documents pertaining to a federal suit filed against some protestors.

Collegiate association. The records document the organization's history, administration, committee activities, membership, and promotional activities. Materials include reports, brochures, correspondence, and printed materials.
American Council of Railroad Women records
An organization of women holding supervisory positions in railroad personnel and service. The records provide insight into the attitudes and motivations of a group of professional women organized for their mutual benefit at a time when most women had "jobs" rather than "careers." Material includes correspondence, minutes, reports, publications, photographs, scrapbooks, and other material which document its history and activities from its founding until 1977.

Anna Moscowitz Kross was a lawyer, judge, New York City Department of Corrections Commissioner, and social reformer. The bulk of the collection covers Kross's career as the Commissioner of Correction. Writings, speeches, and taped interviews reflect Kross's efforts to institute major reforms focusing on education and social rehabilitation for women prisoners. Correspondents include Constance Baker Motley and Eleanor Roosevelt.

Missionary and teacher. The Azalia Peet papers consist of photographs, correspondence, memorabilia, and speeches. Of particular interest in the collection diaries and letters written by Peet from Japan, and from the Japanese American internment camps in the United States during World War II. Her early diaries reflect her home life and her personal struggle to come to terms with her vocation.

Traveler, author, English teacher, Smith graduate, and librarian. Papers are primarily those of Anna Gertrude Brewster and Mary Kate Brewster. Both sisters were devoted to theatre, particularly to the Academy of Music in Northampton. They also wrote several books and plays, some of which were published. Material documents world travel, and includes scrapbooks, photographs, diaries, correspondence, and the Brewster children's family newspaper.

Carole A. Oglesby is a pioneer in the women's sports movement and one of the first "out" lesbians in U.S. athletics. The bulk of this collection represents Oglesby's professional activities, research and extensive writings, and contains materials related to women and sport in the United States and worldwide beginning in the 1950's.
Caroline Dwight Bain papers
This collection consists of the personal papers of archival consultant and loyal Smith College alumna Caroline Dwight Bain (1928-2015). Of special note are the letters Bain wrote to her parents while she was working for the Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, DC, 1944-1945.
