Ruth Tuthill Green papers
Teacher; Traveler; Military spouse. Papers include letters to family while working at Caney Creek Community Center, Pippa Passes, KY (1919); from Puerto Rico; and Hawaii (1940-42) with descriptions of the impact of the Pearl Harbor attack. Also photographs of Puerto Rico (1919-20), and travel diaries of her mother, Carrie Taylor Tuthill, Europe (1892 and 1913).
Sarah Tinsley Rees papers
Missionary and Red Cross worker. Rees worked as a missionary in Japan and Russia, and as a nurse's aid during World War I. Correspondence includes her many letters from Japan and Siberia, plus letters from her family in the U.S. to Rees. Other materials include memorabilia and photographs.
Sayre Sheldon papers
Sayre Sheldon is an antinuclear activist, professor, and writer. The collection contains materials documenting Sayre Sheldon's involvement in international women's rights, peace, and nuclear disarmament movements. A significant amount pertains to Women's Action for New Directions, and a smaller amount to Dr. Helen Caldicott.

Suffrage collection
Susan B. Anthony papers
Susan B. Anthony was a suffragist, feminist, temperance leader, and abolitionist. Anthony began her political career with the Women's New York State Temperance Society, and became involved in women's rights, suffrage, and the abolitionist movements. The bulk of the collection consists of material by outside parties about Anthony, including biographical material; published writings by Anthony; memorabilia; correspondence; autograph collection; and photographs.
Susan Ribner papers
Susan Ribner was most noted as a practitioner, teacher, and champion of women's participation in martial arts. Ribner's papers document the feminist martial arts, self-defense and anti-violence movements of the 1970s and 80s in New York City.
Susan Rosenberg papers
Author; Poet; Political activist; Prison reformer; Educator. Papers are primarily associated with her sixteen years in prison (1984-2001) and include correspondence, legal documents, photographs, poetry and essays written by Rosenberg, course work, her Master's thesis, and syllabi for courses she taught while incarcerated. Of particular interest are the personal journals she kept during her time in prison.

Teresina R. Havens papers
Professor of comparative religion; Founder, spiritual retreat Temenos, Shutesbury, MA. Included in the collection are scrapbooks from Japan and the coal mining town of Bradley, Ohio. Correspondence with family members provides insight into her personal and spiritual development. Havens' papers include dairies; Smith College student papers; published articles; teaching materials; and the papers of her mother, Teresina Peck Rowell.
Theater collection
The collection documents the work of women in the performing arts, especially American actresses, women playwrights, and dancers. There are biographical files on individuals; articles and dissertations; several contemporary plays by women; and printed material on women filmmakers and feminist theater.

Upton family papers
The Upton Family papers include materials created by Cornelia Babcock Upton and Winslow Upton, and their two daughters, both graduates of Smith College. This collection includes correspondence, diaries, and notes by Cornelia Upton documenting her travels in America, Hawaii, Alaska, Africa, and the Far East. Bacteriologist Margaret Upton and librarian Eleanor Upton's papers include documents of a children's club in Providence, RI, to which they belonged.
Voters for Choice records
Abortion rights advocacy group. Records contain correspondence, photographs, fundraieing and public relations materials, reports, conference materials, printed materials, and audiovisual materials. Records document the organization's mission to preserve abortion rights by way of media campaigns and endorsing pro-choice candidates for political office.
Woman's Collage Theater records
The collection contains financial records, memorabilia, photographs, publicity materials, workshop tapes, correspondence, and meeting notes pertaining to plays the Woman's Collage Theater produced.
Women Ambassadors Oral History Project oral histories
Collection consists mostly of oral histories conducted and collected by Morin of women ambassadors and state department employees, conducted in 1984, for her book, Her Excellency (1995). The collection also contains research files and typescripts of her book, Her Majesty, and a proposal and outline for a book, Madam Ambassador.
