The Continental Committee of the Young Women's Christian associations of South America is created to unite and strengthen existing associations, assist with the development of new associations, maintain relationships with other national YWCA's and with the World YWCA, facilitate cooperation with other women's welfare organizations in South America and work towards the development of a South American federation of YWCA's.
