Abstract

Constance Carrier, a member of the Smith College Class of 1929, was an American poet. The Constance Carrier Papers consist of 27 linear ft. and are primarily related to her professional and personal life, dating from 1849 to 2008 (bulk 1900-1990). The papers are arranged in 11 series.

Abstract

Dorothy May Anderson taught landscape design at Smith College and contributed to the redesign of the Smith campus prior to joining the war effort in 1943. Her papers contains questionnaires, course material, photographs, newspaper clippings, and correspondence related to Anderson's professional and personal life.

Abstract

The Birkby papers include her own documentation of women's activities through various forms of documentation. Materials include films, photographs, journals, writings, and correspondence with several notable feminists.

Abstract Charitable organization. Records consist largely of charity case records of poor women from Brattleboro and some from Rhinebeck, New York. Files contain correspondence from clients as well as case notes by the local agent. Collection contains the correspondence and papers of Richards M. Bradley, a trustee who oversaw the trust from 1901 to 1943.
