The collection contains scrapbooks documenting the the Kansas City Womyn's Chorus' events, gatherings, and performances, and music scores. The Kansas City Womyn's Chorus was founded as a diverse group of women for the purpose of singing non-sexist music and to "share, celebrate, and build women's culture."

Her papers consist of Partisan Project pamphlets, several pro-Kerry/anti-Bush fliers, a poster signed by Gloria Steinem, a packet of logistical information for a Gloria Steinem tour, personal and professional papers (much related to Kiehl's work with Voters for Choice), material related to her good friends and colleagues Wilma Mankiller and Gloria Steinem, A/V material, memorabilia, external hard drives, and four CD-Roms.

Founded in the early 1970s by several women dissatisfied with the sexist treatment they received as members of the Union of Radical Political Economists, the Marxist-Feminist Group reflected the radical politics and increasingly radical feminism of its founders. The collection contains Marxist-Feminist Group biographies and meeting materials, including notes, presentations, publications, articles, and mailing lists.

The Ms. Foundation for Education and Communication was originally part of the Ms. Foundation for Women. From 1978 to 1987, it published Ms. Magazine. This collection consists of early records of the Ms. Foundation for Education and Communication, including financial information, correspondence, Board of Directors files, and documents pertaining to a legal case brought by Elizabeth Forsling Harris against Gloria Steinem, Patricia Carbine and Ms. Magazine Corp. for fraud.

Susan Rubin collection on International Women's Year and subsequent conferences
Among her other roles in women's equity movements, Susan Rubin was a staff member on the National Commission on the Observance of International Women’s Year Secretariat, which was responsible for organizing the 1977 historic women’s conference in Houston, Texas. This collection reflects Rubin's role as a staff member for the Commission working on the 1977 conference as well as later conferences, including Beijing, 1990.
