This collection consists of the personal papers of archival consultant and loyal Smith College alumna Caroline Dwight Bain (1928-2015). Of special note are the letters Bain wrote to her parents while she was working for the Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, DC, 1944-1945.

The First National Y-Teen Conference brought together Y-Teens from across the country to develop their leadership skills, participate in the larger YWCA movement, and learn from their peers and adult leaders. Photographs include conference ceremonials at the National Cathedral, conference sessions, a numbered series of photographs with index, and group photographs.
