Abe Louise Young papers
Abe Louise Young is a poet, activist, Sophia Smith Scholar in Poetry, and a founder of the Poetry Center at Smith College. Collection contains correspondence; diaries; poetry and writings; passport; flyers, brochures and newsletters pertaining to the women's movement and lesbian activism; and miscellaneous printed material, memorabilia, and photographs. A typescript of an interview with Elizabeth Alexander, first director of the Smith Poetry Center, is also included.
Azalia Emma Peet papers
Missionary and teacher. The Azalia Peet papers consist of photographs, correspondence, memorabilia, and speeches. Of particular interest in the collection diaries and letters written by Peet from Japan, and from the Japanese American internment camps in the United States during World War II. Her early diaries reflect her home life and her personal struggle to come to terms with her vocation.
Dorothy Dushkin papers
Composer and co-founder of music schools. Musical scores and recordings make up a large portion of the collection. Dushkin's diaries, kept from age 15 to 84, are highly detailed and personal and reflect a dual life as professional composer and family caretaker. Winnetka and Kinhaven music schools are documented by correspondence, writings, and photographs. Correspondents include Jessie Lloyd O'Connor, Caroline Bedell Thomas, and musician Nadia Boulanger.

Also included are unpublished stories, radio broadcasts, two scrapbooks and letters to her father.

Closely related to the papers of Dorothy Reed Mendenhall and Florence Sabin who were both medical students at Johns Hopkins with Long. Also documents the year of her internship at the New York Women's Infirmary and her first years of epidemiological research in Denver, CO.
