Photographs of young women's Christian association programs and services in Greece. Early work in Greece focuses on war relief and aid to refugees. The photographs show refugee camps, Greek, Armenian and Turkish refugees, and examples of relief efforts. Several photograph show crowds in front of a palace in Athens waiting for admission. Later YWCA activity takes on a form more familiar to established clubs around the world. The YWCA offers classes, child care and recreation.

The report of the survey of the YWCA and YMCA in Greece is a cooperative effort of the two organizations giving historical context to the development of the YWCA and YMCA in Greece, describing the needs of the people and summarizing the work of the YWCA and YMCA in meeting those needs.The report is organized by geographic community and includes an appendix containing "notes on the effects of almost 500 years of Turkish subjugation."
