Scope and Contents

Recreation, education and physical education are an important part of young women's Christian associations around the world. These images from India show women and girls participating in hikes, gym class, sports and social dances. Several photographs show a meeting between an American YWCA staff member and university students visiting India from. Additional photographs feature members of the Y-Teen program in India.
