Young women's Christian associations in Italy provide much needed relief and opportunity for the women of Italy following World War II. They help distribute supplies, provide education and offer places for women to meet. Photographs show YWCA members utilizing donated materials and contributing to war relief efforts. Pre-war photographs show the interior and exterior of YWCA buildings.

Scope and Contents

Photographs of classes for teens and youth at young women's Christian associations in Italy. For young children who have left school, YWCA classes supplement their education and offer skills training that can later be used in employment.
