Conference proceedings, minutes and reports from the 1905 and 1906 conferences of the YWCA of the U.S.A predecessor organization the American Committee. The 1906 conference was a special convention to address the joining of the American Committee with the International Board to form the proposed Young Women's Christian Association of the United States of America.

The proceedings and reports reflect the name of the organization at the time of creation as it went through organizational changes. Included are issues of the "Evangel," a publication issued by the International Committee of Young Women's Christian Associations.

Photographs from the second YWCA of the USA conference on outdoor recreation and convservation held at the Grand Tetons National Park. Photographs include images of the park, the Gros Ventre Slide interpretive trail ceremonies, delegates, leaders, and hikes. At least one of the photographs has 1964 written in pencil on the back and may refer to the first conservation conference.

Photographs from student YWCA conferences in the Central region, often referred to as the Geneva region, roughly covering midwestern states. Many conferences were held at the Lake Geneva camp and conferences grounds and photographs include images of students participating in camp activities such as lakeside recreation, hikes, pageants, and swimming in addition to posed group photographs. Later conferences were often co-ed and included delegates from student YMCA associations.

Photographs include posed and candid group and individual portraits as well as photographs of camp activities and outdoor recreation. Later conferences appear to be co-ed, likely with student YMCA's.
