Scope and Contents

Documents concerning the war work of the YWCA of the U.S.A. during World War I in Czechoslovakia and France. Narrative reports give summaries of the YWCA of the U.S.A. activities, conditions faced and progress made. In France, YWCA of the U.S.A. war work includes hostess houses, a training school and operating foyers. Other documents include correspondence, bulletins of the American Women's Club in Paris and a pamphlet on the American YWCA in France.
