The Public Information Committee of the YWCA of the U.S.A. is responsible for developing policy and plans for publicity and promotion of events, ideas and activities. The committee meets to review the progress of projects, discuss publicity needs, review publicity methods and review their departmental budgets. In the fall of 1961 the responsibilities of the Public Information Committee are shifted to the Communications Committee of the Bureau of Communications.
